I realized that the second I posted my response. Just to test it, I sat a pick on my iPhone 5 and my HTC Inspire. It doesn't seem to have affected either device.

Most phones would be unaffected. Not only is the magnet not that strong, but the information on your phone is not stored on a magnetic disc.

The accelerometer that orients the compass as well as the screen of the phone CAN be damaged by magnets, but they would need to be significantly stronger than the magnets in these picks.

I got this... Yes, as a musician, I HAD to buy these to try them out. Seen your question and tried it out. YES.. It DOES stick to the fridge, although that wont help you playing guitar.
