I haven't DJed in 25 years and back then we only used vinyl. I installed VirtualDj a couple days ago just out of curiosity and the interface is so intuitive and easy to use that I was mixing within minutes...and only using my laptop and my collection of mp3s. BUT what made me choose Virtualdj over the others is the stem controls/track separation! This is a game changer. I can easily cut out the vocals on a song that has almost no breaks allowing me room to mix in the next song, instead of doing a backspin then cut to the next song or something similar, OR I can cut out the music and play the vocals only over a different beat/instrumental. This also makes making loops and samples very easy. All of this done live...just like DJ Time Nice did.

i remember and still own my original vdj 1 from way back in 2003 and people were like wtf i was like ahhhh just wait and see where this is heading :) 20 years later here we are vdj still inovating and prooving its ok to be in the race and ALWAYS a strong competitor keep up the great work vdj i guess its time i moved from

The way you did this's fkn genius! Showing exactly what is being done on screen instead of just an out of view thing we can't see like 99%the time bet every DJ now will be streaming their sets like this from n now on! Like even more involved! Man I want to have all the gear to do this set up! Let the audience see exactly what I'm doing and why. Like when he did that loop out and dropped right into that normally I'd go why? That's kinda annoying but now I heard it and saw it and cuz I saw it I could more easily pick up on what I'm hearing n watching n understood the why and saw the genius of that move cuz it matches the sound of that previous loop in a unique way only that specific thing works out for if I'm making any sense so hard to articulate it lol. But damn I can't tell if the wave form is on the table or not lol. But I appreciate having all the eqs and fx being shown on screen in real time. All that was so cool man! Like revolutionary lol wtf didn't I think of that! Kicking my self lol. But kudos that's themove right there I'm inspired now! Wow that also shows all the skill of the DJ and genius of what it is we do and ppl can't accuse us of using a pre recorded set lol.

Yooo my guy, VDJ is so easy and user friendly, LOVE VIRTUAL DJ.other softwares so complicated, I wonder why beginners give up on theirs dreams of being a dj.but VDJ...

VirtualDJ is great software, in my opinion. I have been using it for roughly 12 years now. It's incredibly customizable and VERY mapping friendly. Sound quality is really good, as well. I wouldn't give up Serato, that's for sure. But VirtualDJ is legit, and don't ever let anyone tell you it doesn't compete with the big boys.

Dope beginning stages but sound quality improvements are needed asap. Still love serato but I keep my eyes on this software cause they always seem to intoduce some dope we all are gonna be using..
