It's too bad that the "good old boys" politicked Russo out of writing Nitro. WCW was finally gaining momentum and popularity again. It makes me wonder what might have been.

I’m always fascinated at how WWF Raw is War managed to keep that hot streak they had when Austin left. WCW Nitro came close in late ‘99 but never seemed to quite overtake them, at least not for long.
