I wish the documentation was better. Specifically I want a clear explanation of how to set up and start each test. For example, which tests require power on the HID port?

I purchased this model and I’m really enjoying it so far. It has several functions that I don’t exactly know how to interpret. I am no electronics expert, just an enthusiast Who bought a really cool USB-C tester.

Could you do more videos that go in depth regarding some of the functions, and how we would interpret them?

For example:

What is a standard the VBus ripple? What is the acceptable range and why it would be important.

What is a normal cable resistance value? What is the acceptable range for it?

There are several videos that I have seen on these topics and some of them have conflicting info.

In my opinion, explaining how to interpret the data and what to look out for in a video from the makers of the tester would be a great resource.

Is there a way to test the laptop for supported protocols not the charger?

the back button doesn't rotate my screen on mine. I have the latest 1.8.7 software. (Edit: Okay, just updated to 1.8.8!) That would be so cool, because during my videos, i'm constantly unplugging and replugging. and then having to get the rotation back to normal where it's easily viewable and not sideways or upside down. Other than that, this is the best damn tester on the market. I love it!!!

Can I use a USB-A to USB-C adaptor and connect it to my laptops USB-A port to measure the USB-A power delivery or it is only designed for USB-C ports?

I have issues with mine, it keeps loosing power even when powered through HID port, and it’s happening often when a device or supply isn’t connected to the bidirectional ports

The other issue is that it cannot always set a protocol trigger. Unless I disconnect the power.

I have to admit I find the instructions confusing. The basic things I want to test are: how much power does a power brink I have output (and does it support PD), and how good my USB-C cable is. Some parts of the video show a USB-C cable plugged into the HID port while testing. Can I do this? What do I power it with? Or do I always have to have the Power-z in the middle of two devices? What's the best way to test Bricks and Cables?

I have a question. In some videos showing the POWER-Z KM003C, you can see, in the upper right corner where it shows PWR, a thermometer showing a temperature, but in some videos, like this one for example, there is no thermometer. In the table on the website, it says that this model does not have a temperature sensor. After all, does it have the sensor or not? Is there a revised version with a temperature sensor? How can new buyers identify it? And most importantly, what does this temperature refer to? Thank you!
