I bought tickets for Rage Against the Machine in El Paso, TX. That was literally supposed to happen before the pandemic. And then it hit and they held our tickets because "the band was still scheduled to perform". Fast forward 2 almost 3 years later, the band cancels the tour and ticketmaster refuses to reimburse our tickets. What they get away with is beyond disgusting and borderlining criminal. Someone needs to put an end to them already.

Saying Ticketmaster is a criminal enterprise is like saying the sun is hot.

0:50 never really been a kid rock fan but I have a ton of respect for him because of this!

The tickets are just outrageous. Like seriously though, venues all charge so much for food and drinks even too. It’s ridiculous.

I thought $39 for the KISS reunion in 96 was outrageous 😂😂😂

So true. Around a year ago, I wanted to go to a Elton John concert. I checked ticketmaster and the tickets were 2, 000 or 200 for nosebleed. Never went but was shocked about the price. Its honestly ridiculous how much tickets cost. I wish I could go back in time to when tickets were cheap and anyone can go, instead of having to pay a month's worth salary for one person.

Never thought I’d say this in my life, but respect to Kid Rock. That’s actually a great idea. 😅

Blink-182 tickets for their upcoming tour for their Montreal stop are 550/ticket floor or 160 in nose bleed.

When scalpers have LITERAL CONVENTIONS on how to do this and own a dozen accounts, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS! It hurts the fans, the artists, and the venue!!! You resell one front row ticket for a few grand and resell nothing in the balcony, but the venue has no idea and hires enough people for a sold-out show. No merch or concessions are sold upstairs, and fans that would have paid normal price but were priced-out don't come.

I was a teen in the 90s. Most ticket prices were between 25 and 40 bucks. I can't imagine paying today's prices. I don't care whos playing.

I paid $66 to see Ozzfest 2001. That included parking. Most shows I go to tickets are around $32-38. Usually four bands in decent sized clubs. Seeing anything in a arena or stadium forget it. $700 for nosebleed? For that price I better get to do a line of coke back stage.

The horrified look on Kurt's face! Absolutely rolling in his grave right now

A few years ago I tried getting one Rage Against The Machine ticket thru TM. I loaded the site on my computer early, and played the waiting room game patiently for a good shot. When the tickets officially went on sale, I could not select one. It kept giving me the same error message, basically saying, "We don't like the device you're using". Meanwhile as I kept trying, the seats disappeared and the strange "charity" section prices kept going up. My guess is they were trying to push their phone app instead of letting me just use a laptop. Irony: the show was cancelled anyway.

The thing that PISSES ME OFF is that Ticketmaster condone the scalpers. I can’t get tickets but they can get 100-200 tickets…..and now I have to buy from them.

We people need to keep pressure on this topic! It’s in our own interest

That's why a lot of us can't see our favorite bands. And that is a sad situation. 😥😡

I remember going to see bands like Rollins, Green Day, Bad Religion, Social Distortion, Tool, the Ramones at Anaconda in Santa Barbara, . Tickets were always between 12 and 20 bucks. Fugazi rolled into town and charged $8. Lowest price I ever paid for a concert ticket was Fugazi. Now to see Green Day and Rancid this summer it'll cost $311 per seat
