Do you find these need to be lapped? Ive got the PMR rings whivh are awesome but wanted these for weight savings on a carbon hunting rifle but unsure on if theyre gonna need lapping and if ill need a kit

When I mount my 2 piece ring set I mount 1 pushed fwd and 1 pushed backwards

Vortex PMR just strips.. 2 broken sets this far. Aluminium. NO thanks.
