How To Summarize Any Youtube Video In Seconds (With Transcript) Using AI - ONE CLICK!

In this YouTube video, I show you a simple method to get a summary and transcript from any YouTube video by using an app called "Glasp." This app can be installed from the Chrome Store, and once it is installed and pinned, it shows up as an extension button.

I demonstrate how to use Glasp to get a summary and transcript from a YouTube video by selecting the video, clicking on the "Transcript and Summary" option, and then selecting the "View AI Summary" option to open it in a new tab. The summary can then be copied and pasted into ChatGPT to generate a summary of the video.

Please note that summaries for shorter videos tend to be better, and suggest using the "rewrite but longer" command in ChatGPT for more detailed summaries.

I have a case usage of needing 2 million words distilled down to 10k, what / where can I find mass word input for such summerization? Or what is a workaround for me to arrive at this context output desire? I was trying to upload either a PDF and or have a link that I could just copy paste over into chat GPT, but I have the free version and it tells me it can't read links, what can I do? I'm obviously not trying to have the entire 2 million at once, but that is the end game result over time I desire.

This extension is good, but not so convenient. ChatGPT has a character limit, so if the video is longer than 5 minutes, it won't allow you to insert the transcript, you'll have to cut and paste it manually to get the summary of the video.
