great video on basic teaching methods of reading and comprehension. As part of my work I read scientific articles and need to understand and summarize them. These skills I still use today 4 decades on. It does help. Nice one James.

im taking a english comp II class in collage right now and my teacher is boring. i fall asleep in his class but i wake myself up and try to pay attention. His teaching is not understandable and i prey to god i pass the class so i don't have to worry about him anymore. but this man, i would pass with flying colors because he keeps your attention. he's doing diffrent things. things that i don't want to miss. I wish you were my teacher. thanks for this video because i do need help.

I think the police put thier sirens on and swing by your class JUST so you can add that to your lessons. LOL Maybe. Or... you could start up a conversation with just about EVERYTHING- even when you are talking to the camera. That is probably the greatest reason why you are such a good teacher.
