This is what the event should have been all along. I wasn’t able to do any in person raids that day so I completely missed out. Thankful to hear that I’ll get another shot though. Still looking for my first shiny or better than 93% IVs.

Not really related to this, but I’m so happy I’ve gotten back into the game after taking a break for a few months. Kinda annoying because before the break, my lvl 50 push was going well but i guess i just got burnt out. It’s sad I missed the go fest but really looking forward to the new events and grinding the game again. Idk if anybody will see this or care but i just wanted to share my thoughts.

Yes, finally. I have a dhint 96% max level mega Rayquaza. However, i still wanted to raid more but couldn't do elite raids. Plus, now my sister plays too, and she started after it was available. Im just glad we're able to do them in normal raids, plus the research for the meteorite.

But of course I have to go on vacation when my neighborhood has a gym right next to me :( so I have to rely on remote raid passes.

I will never understand why they even thought this Elite BS was a good idea. Like I get the concept: “oh yeah look at this cool limited time pokemon I got from this limited time raid”, and then they hype it up to be the craziest event of the month, but then the bonuses are garbage and for every 10 gyms, is one raid egg.
