ALMOST! I did everything exactly, things were going well, I saved the file as text tone. I did not see it show up at all under text tones in my settings. It kept coming up under ringtones and I was careful, I made sure I deleted all the old ringtones I created earlier and redid the process four times and still it’s not coming out right. I even made sure my iOS software is up-to-date. What am I doing wrong?

tried this and the text tone imports into the sounds and haptics section under text tone but its not selectable, you can't see it. its weird. you can see it from the menu above it that it is selected but once you select a different text tone the custom text tone disappears... so as long as you aren't changing your custom text tone again for a while you are good lol

Great video, worked no problem, even with IOS17. Thank you for the step by step instructions, that was done at a place where I only had to rewind once. When you go to change your text tone, it will pop up under the ringtones section, not the alert tones section which took me a min because I was expecting it to pop up under alert tones, but I just selected it, and it worked no problem as a new text tone! No I have a custom text tone that makes me laugh everytime - LOVE IT!
