Très présentes dans les médias, où elles reçoivent beaucoup d'attention pour leur beauté éblouissante et leur apparence unique, elles sont largement acceptées dans la société thaïlandaise. Pourquoi y a-t-il un nombre toujours croissant de ladyboys en Thaïlande ? Et jusqu'où iront-ils pour devenir la femme parfaite ?

There is a big issue that is not being discussed (or maybe not researched prior to writing this document). A lot of young gay boys especially those with effeminate mannerisms get brought up and pushed into thinking they are katoey despite them just being gay and/or effeminate instead of transgender.

Excellent documentary! I am rather disturbed that the doc sponsored the Miss Tiffany Show to promote his business, but failed to spend the money on proper renovation and upkeeping of hygiene in his clinic.

Wow, just Scary where that surgery was conducted and the patient was still awake! God forbid there was a medical emergency that occurred during the operation, because it certainly didn't appear that they could handle one!

Désolée messieurs, mais la plupart des femmes ne se déhanchent pas...ne minaudent pas...et puis ne pensent pas qu'à se maquiller, s'habiller sexy pour plaire.... beaucoup bossent, élèvent des enfants...et aiment certes plairent ... mais ne sont pas h 24. En mode ''sexy''...car oui nous pourrions être mignonne...or la vie et notre personnalité aussi fait... que ne nous sommes pas...a part quelques gazelles, d'ailleurs magnifiques....de nature comme cela, ...ne vous en déplaise, nous sommes des êtres de conscience et pas des poupées fantasmagorique sur pattes...en tout cas à toute les sœurs sexy au quotidien...

Being a woman or let alone "a perfect woman" does not constitute of a simple sex reassignment surgery, makeup and clothes!! a woman is a whole aura, her personality, her ability to bring life to this world, her contribution to the world, her energy! eventhough i'm open minded it frightened me when i saw that schools in Thailand are encouraging kids from such a young age to start wearing makeup and decide on the sex they want to have

For all westerners and/or Abrahamic people complaining about this, you should know that such things have been going on in that territory for over 700 years now. It's not anything new for them, nor do they see it as a big deal.
