This was great! I have been teaching myself stats for a while now and likelihood vs probability has always been very nebulous to me. Your vid and another one by Brian Greco "lifted the veil" quite a bit. I was waiting for you to take a derivative here, haha. Gotta say, it was satisfying to work it out on the whiteboard and see that, in fact, p=0.5, is the the maximum value of the likelihood function.
