Oh wow, an entire video dedicated to my question, thanks guys, that’s amazing, I’ve only been a CT member for a few weeks, but that is even more value for money right there! Thanks for clarifying, it makes sense to take out profits from BTC from time to time but as you say, wouldn’t make any sense to transfer large chunks into fiat where it would immediately start depreciating, unless you were using it to make a decent purchase. Since I started selling into dips and buying back in at cheaper prices my portfolio has certainly improved, but I got the impression that you didn’t tend to do that with yr BTC, so was just curious about the long term strategy. Spread your money among different asset categories like bitcoin and stock, then further allocate those funds within each category.

Totally makes sense. Take your profits (even from bitcoin) when you need to use it (buy a house, etc). But always reinvest excess fiat back into appreciating assets (bitcoin!). Really this is just investing 101 and the mindset of a wealthy person.

I understand the extreme mindset! I put all my savings into Bitcoin/cryptos as well! Living as frugal as possible rn so my investments can appreciate…. Don’t see the point of selling much other than what I need to buy basic things with US dollars right away! Only thing I’d sell my crypto for is real estate!

Think of BTC over 100 years timeframe, not 1 year. Then the decision is easy and simple => accumulate more and never sell. Refinance it and use it wisely if you need.

Thanks guys! Great video. I'm new to crypto, got in this past summer. HODLing for long term to at least next halving 2025. My goal each month is to have more Sats than I had the month before. Wish I had listened to people like you. My son told me about Bitcoin when it was $4K. I told him not to buy it because it sounded too risky. Could've easily put a few thousand dollars in. Could've, should've, wish I would've. Now, I hope I'm not too late. Peace.

Isn't there a bug which occurs in about 50 years time due to the number of integers a variable is able to hold? You will need to sell before then if there isn't a fork to fix it! 😁
