Quick, think of something inspiring! What did you think of? A piece of artwork or music? A great story? A beautiful sight from nature? What about... mathematics? While mathematics might not be most people’s first answer, Mike Naylor, the artistic director at the Amborneset Math Creativity Center, would say that mathematics can be an inspiring adventure full of beauty, surprise and wonder.

Mike writes the quarterly column "Mathematics and Creativity" for Tangenten magazine, and has published hundreds of articles, columns, books and poems to spread fun and astonishing mathematical ideas. In this talk, Mike has introduced audiences to fun and astonishing ideas from the world of math. You may not have believed that a mathematical pattern could be so inspiring… but you will!

I really loved the ABACABA part. It relates to music theory as well and in indian classical music we call it Aaroh and Awroh.

Universe: based on mathematics
Nature: uses patterns from mathematics
Art: mimics nature
Genesis: writes ABACAB
This video: plagiarised Genesis 🤦‍♂️
