whenever the two kids would be in shot, the black hair always had the halo, but the white girl does not have one (even in 1:12, you could still see the halo)

The warped portrayal of religious renaissance paintings, the juxtaposition of the two girls being adored by a crowd with that same fickle crowd unknowingly (or perhaps knowingly) buying products with the girls in them, the sterile environment of it all…this was so chilling to watch. 세상이라도 구원할거처럼 숭고한 희생으로 포장해가며 그들에게 고통을 주고 죽음에 이르게 해서 나온것이 고작 화장품 ...
동물실험이란 주제가 너무 와닿아서... 보면서 어쩐지 눈물이 났습니다.
그러고보면 종교에서 성인들의 희생도 전인류를 위한거처럼 대단하게 포장됐지만 현실은 그 희생을 무의미하게 만드는 인간들이 너무나 많은 것 같네요.
거짓으로 희생시킨 느낌입니다.

예수가 십자가에 못이 박혀서 죽듯이, 손에 주삿바늘이 꽂혀서 죽는 모습이랑 오마쥬되네요. 동물실험에 쓰이는 동물들도 성인의 죽음 못지 않은 고귀한 가치가 있고, 항상 감사함을 잊지 말아야 할 것입니다.
화장품 실험에 정말 많은 동물들이 사용되고 있죠. 기술의 발전을 위해서 불가피한 선택이었지만.. 별이 된 동물들을 안타깝게 생각합니다.
사이비 종교에서 사람들이 두 아이를 보고 환호하듯이, 우리는 기술의 발전에 놀라워하고 있습니다. 초반에 나온 고통받는 사람들은 질병에 고통 받고 있는 인간을 상징하는 거 같은데, 이번 주제는 화장품 실험뿐만 아니라 의약품 등 모든 동물실험을 주제로 하신듯.
질병에 고통 받는 인간은 아이들을 보고 환호하고, 검은 머리 아이가 그 기대와 찬양에 부응해 주는 것은 연구 결과가 초반에는 검은 머리 아이, 그러니까 검은 쥐가 연구 결과면에서 더 두각을 나타내는 반응을 보인 것 같습니다.
중간에 성인? 을 상징하는 마크가 검은 머리 아이에게만 나타난 것을 보면 알 수 있지요.
검은 머리 아이는 더 강한 실험을 받게 되고
새로운 약물과 실험을 견디지 못해서 죽게 됩니다. 이제 하얀 아이는 새로운 교주, 새로운 실험대상이 되겠지요..

원래 약을 주입하고 잘 견디던 건 검은 쥐 쪽이었나 봄. 초반에 검은 쥐는 가만히 있지만, 흰 쥐는 탈출하고 싶은 것처럼 불안정하게 일어서있음. 그래서 사람들은 흰 쥐보다는 검은 쥐에 기대했는데 (검은 머리 아이가 사람들에게 손을 내밂. 후광이 검은 아이 뒤에 걸려있음.) 막상 모든 실험을 완료하고 살아남은 건 흰 쥐고 사람들은 동물 실험을 통과한 하얀 화장품만을 찾음.

My analysis:
I think this is about non-cruelty-free animal products.

At the beginning we can see that there is a black and white mouse in a cage, which then immediately cuts to a scene of human patients who are getting their heads shaved. These "patients" are a personification of the mice; they are in fact getting their fur shaved(0:29), and we can see that one of the "patients" a.k.a. the mouse, is dead(0:31), symbolizing how several animals have to die during testing processes.

After that, there are a series of warping images of Jesus and Christianity, probably to symbolize human sacrifices, which are glorified. (0:41)

Then there are two girls standing at an altar, dressed just like angels, and people that are praising them.(0:45) These two girls with black and white hair, are the human form of the black and white mouse.

From 1:03-1:17, the two girls are dressed in white while riding a carriage and being lionized by people (which honestly seemed quite similar to the scene in Midsommar lol).

But then, we cut to a scene of one of the girls being painfully tortured, with materials being injected into them, but with no one praising them this time(1:31 and 1:34).Then, there are also flashes of scenes that depict religious sacrifices, like the sacrifice of Jesus for our sins at 1:39, which is contrastingly surrounded by light and glory.

At 1:45, we are brought back to the reality that these girls are actually testing mice, and that the black mice has tragically died as a result of the testing process. There is no one praising their sacrifice this time as well.

During the entire video, the scenes of human sacrifices like Jesus and the two girls, (who are just a personification of the mice), are depicted in a glorifying and laudatory manner. However, the sacrifices of the two girls in their mice form goes unmentioned and buried under the consumption and branding of make-up products.

To sum it up, I think this is about how we as a society glorify the concept sacrifices and pity those who died at the cost of others, but ignore the animal cruelty and sacrifice that have to go into fulfilling our needs.

Does the apathetic white one remind anyone else of the mouse utopia experiment?

For anyone unfamiliar, the mouse utopia experiment placed mice inside an environment with everything they'd need. This included enclosed spaces for dens, nesting materials, food and water.
After a few generations, it produced what the conductor of the experiment called "the beautiful ones". All they did was eat, groom, and sleep. Other than that, they were completely apathetic. They didn't engage in social behaviors, did not mate, and if they did have offspring, they wouldn't care for them. The population stagnated and died out.

이 두개가 합쳐진 것 같은 느낌을 받았어요!
과도한 동물실험의 남용(가설 1) + 사이비 종교가 그들의 젊음과 구원을 위해 소녀들을 희생시키는 것 (가설 2) 랄까요..??
흑발소녀(쥐)는 숭배자들을 반기고 머리 뒤에 헤일로가 있는걸 보아 흑발소녀는 자신이 구원자라고 생각한 반면, 하얀소녀(쥐)는 그들을 증오하고 혐오하는 느낌에 가까운 것 같더라구요. 여튼 동물실험과 사이비 종교의 합이 엄청난 작품을 만들었네요...👍👍
