Jinn are described in the Sumerian language corpus as GEME, or GI-IN, "female slaves", who were the builders, the strong ones, the workers, as well as masters of language, creating and writing laws, performing heraldry and cup-bearing duties, etc. They are of the IGIGI class of deity, the Black Eyed Door Keepers. Their "mother" was NAMMU, the creatrix goddess who was eventually known as TIAMAT, which also roughly means "The first GALLA demon (constable demon), who pierces the membrane", a reference to her status as a mother-creator. She is also referred to as "the speaker of words, the EN PRIEST who arrives upon the earth on a great vessel, and establishes the foundations of culture". She was eventually personified as The Wolf constellation, UR BAR RA, or BAR BAR U, the "Wolf of Ravenous Hunger, the North and South Wind".

Another of their names is the LISHI, a type of "demon" who live in the "corners", and the "middle of houses", and who "strap on running shoes and move at great speed", who are also the deified "tongue", representing all parts of the tongue, as an organ and also the actions of a tongue; all manner of speech and speaking, technical language, information obtained through interrogation, foreign languages, etc. LISI was a Sumerian goddess, associated with NABU, the stars of the "Chest of the Scorpion", in the constellation of Scorpius, and one of her epithets is MUSH EME IMIN BI, "The snake with Seven Tongues", and she is also one of the "Evil Seven", the SHE BI TI, called IB NA DI DI (roughly "Incense smoke in the corner, who moves about quickly").

God created extraterrestrial beings along with jinn and angels. You can believe in both. The Quran even mentions that God has created other extraterrestrial beings before humans. There are good and bad jinn as well.

The "Jinn" are the spirit world, ...its not folklore. All Muslims and other's believe you must enter the spirt world apon your death until the coming of the Messiah or the destruction of the second temple mount...

I believe that when Noah was building the ark that the fallen angels / Aliens
were preparing also in hopes of saving some of their new race if the flood wad real. I believe that the underground is full of tunnels and caves we know nothing about. Just like the creation story and the flood story every race has a similar version and they speak of these beings building under Alantis. These Sea people. What use to be science fiction was history they didn't want us to believe as true stories. So, Mythology is created instead.
