FR-S BRZ Vortech Supercharger Acceleration Test

This is just a quick video processing test on youtube before final video release.

Still testing and establishing baselines, don't have final thoughts but all testing is being done on the least aggressive ECU tuning. And even at this level is faster than a stock S2000. Which is what the target was.

S2000 are far from perfect as you said, motor, diff and trans each have select issues. But it was bold even being as old as it is was hoping for more of that here.

Now of course while its working its a fun car, the S2000. But the smart thing to do is to do a K24 conversion and run boost. After that all you have to do is maybe cut a ford rear end to fit or use some other aftermarket rear end to handle the power. The FR-S however from the research I have done seems to be pretty solid as a whole car.

2nd gear stock goes up to 59mph, I was wondering if adding this much power makes the car go over 58-59mph in 2nd gear or its just reaching that speed faster

power wont make the car reach higher speeds in second gear, that is tuning that does that. increase the redline and then you can hit 60 in second.

Problem with that is S200's are garbage....now hear me out I build racing motors for hondas they are my favorite things to work on and so forth however the F20c motors are garbage and the rear end of any S2k falls apart when you put any real power to them. I hope your FR-S gets to where you want it though good work my friend you have just earned a subscriber =)

I saw an install vid for the Vortech kit and thought it could have been thought out more. Especially the MAF extension. WTF Vortec? You couldn't make a plug in extension?
