In 2018, a terrible war broke out between NATO and the Eastern Coalition. Millions of innocent lives were lost due to the greed of the coalition leaders and the ruthlessness of their military commanders. Although very few nuclear weapons were used, the economies of both factions were left in ruins, meaning that their armed forces only had the budget for old, outdated weapons and aircraft. This Great War lasted for 8 years, and in 2029, just 2 years after the global peace treaty was signed by the United Federation of Eastern Nations and the Senean Empire, tensions between East and West are beginning to rise again. A mercenary pilot of unknown origin, nicknamed the Iron Dragon, has been suspected of shooting down two groups of Senean aircraft. It is the 29th of January, 2028 and a flight of two Mirage 2000s flown by the best Senean pilots have been tasked with finding this mercenary pilot, and taking him down once and for all. This is the legendary tale of the Ghost Riders.
