My nephew used to play these war games before he went into the army and experienced combat firsthand.
After he returned from Iraq 🇮🇶 he never played anymore games.
He was extremely lucky that he came back in one piece although he has PTSD from his time spent in that warzone.

In the real world, there is a several second time delay between the guns firing and the bullets striking the target. Over Laos in the AC-130A, in 1970, it was seven seconds.

It is uncanny how believable this game is. You almost expect some newscaster to comment on the carnage depicted. It will not be long that you wont be able to tell the difference between what is real and what is a game
