I am so tempted by all these books. I just love short fiction collections but I have so many that I need to actually read before I buy more!

I'm glad you enjoyed Revenge! The other two sound very interesting, so I shall have to add them to my TBR! My favourite short story collections are Emerald City by Jennifer Egan, and The Not-Dead and the Saved by Kate Clanchy :)

I just finished The Color Master and I really, really enjoyed it hahaha but I remember you commenting on my TBR so I'm finally checking out this video and it's such a relief to know that you enjoyed it too! I loved The Color Master the most; I'm thinking of making a video about it soon because I'm just bursting at the seams with feeling. And yes on the Kelly Link similarities! I love her and I loved, loved this. :) <3

Another great video. I'm adding How to Breathe to my list. Ogawa is one of my favourite writers. I've read her four books translated into English. Housekeeper is definitely a little different than the other three. When I read The Diving Pool I knew I had to read everything else by her. I would highly recommend that.

I would also recommend Pastoralia by George Saunders. The first and title story in this is my all time favourite story and the collection in general is great.

How To Breathe Underwater is my favourite short story collection too - thank goodness for Mercedes's recommendation! I need to pick up the other two mentioned here, they both sound fab.

Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri is a fantastic collection of short stories.

Great video!

You will probably enjoy A Guide to Being Born by Ramona Ausubel -- it's a magical realism collection and sort of deals with women's bodies and she's compared to Aimee Bender often.

I would also recommend The Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri. It's a pulitzer-prize winning collection about immigrants and culture and identity and I really enjoyed it.

I keep hearing about How to Breathe Underwater by Julie Orringer but I was having trouble finding it in a bookshop! I may have to just put in an order on Book Depository. Such a dangerous thing.

Such a lovely collection. I love Yoko Ogawa and I think I'll just have to pick all these books very soon! <3

I just want to know how you save money for your collections, mine can take forever to fill up the whole shelf, any tips? International Books are expensive here in malaysia :/
