I was a skeptic.. Late one evening in the summer of 2014 about 20 minutes before the sun went down, I witnessed something I could not explain. I was sitting in my backyard in Burke, Virginia with my German shepherd when I looked up at the sky and watched a grayish saucer shaped metallic object drop just below a low cloud line. It flashed extremely bright lights in all directions only for about 2 or 3 seconds then proceeded to move in a northern direction. I watched it for almost 2 minutes until it disappeared behind some tall trees. It was completely silent and did not look man made to me. To this day I still cannot look at the sky like normal people do, I wish it never happened.
