15 reasons to start your own LAW FIRM

Benefits to starting and owning a law firm--here they are. The bottom line is that you have more freedom as a law firm owner (this includes financial freedom and freedom to do what you want). Your income as a law firm owner is not capped, and you have a potential for a very high income. You can pick your hours, size, clients, location, etc. Lawyers are needed and (even with advances in A.I.) it is one profession that isn't going away soon. I am a 1L at the university of Illinois. I want to move back home to southern IL to practice law as a solo practice like this. I want to be a wife and a mother and I know I will need that flexibility! Of course I want to make good money, but I also want to create good work, have good relationships with my clients and community, and have time to enjoy a good work life balance!! It is definitely daunting to go out on your own but this video is reassuring :)
