Ep. 3 : Fantastic (String Quartet ver.)

Henry’s songs have that ting of classical music melted in his songs, perhaps because he majored in classical music. A melody played by the violin can also be heard in ‘FANTASTIC’, which is a retro pop with a vintage sound, and is about a guy who has fallen in love and wants to be a better man.
A fantastic harmony of dance music and classical music – such approach must be what makes Henry’s songs more attractive.
The melody originally played by the violin in ‘FANTASTIC’ was rearranged into a string quartet piece.
See how Henry turns into ‘Sensitive Man’ instead of the ‘Real Man’ that he has shown us so far!
It is now the time to be fascinated by his violin performance.

클래식을 전공해서인지, 헨리의 음악에는 클래식이 슬며시 녹아 있다. 빈티지한 사운드의 레트로팝 장르 ‘판타스틱’. 사랑에 빠진 한 남자가 더 좋은 남자가 되고 싶어하는 가사의 ‘판타스틱’에도 바이올린 선율이 흐른다.
댄스와 클래식의 환상적인 조화. 헨리의 뮤직이 더욱 매력적인 이유는 이러한 시도 때문일 것인다.
‘판타스틱’의 바이올린 선율을 현악 4중주로 편곡해, 스트링 퀄텟으로 완성했다. ‘진짜 사나이’ 헨리가 ‘감성 사나이’가 되는 순간!
이제 바이올린 연주 무대에 빠져 볼 시간이다.

I hate how SM doesn't promote Henry as much as they do for EXO or RV.
Not hating on any of the groups, because I love them all, but seriously. Henry is probably one of the most talented artists they have, and they decide to promote another artist who's not as talented more than him instead. Henry deserves the fame.

The interesting thing is that with his popularity, he can make a lot more money being a classical musician than as an idol. Classical music is huge in Korea, Japan, and China. I think he really must love what he is doing to not want to pursue classical opportunities.
