I kind of feel bad for the goth girl. She had really bad anxiety and stuff and he couldn't handle it so he should have just told her he couldn't handle it instead of ghosting her.
Also that popular girl and that guy were casually dating, not sure why she couldn't have just said it, but that's what they were doing.
