At the same time that I believe he didn't know how to love her because he didn't know what love was, I believe he also had a very similar strange feeling towards Batman. I loved a man like that once, everyone kept telling me he toxic but I was so convinced he loved me, yeah his words loved me not him, took me a long time to get out of that manipulative love situation because I couldn't see that something was wrong, I trusted his love that I thought was there, like her it hurt when I left but Im a better person now.
