Storybook Chair Story 2 of 2
Booboos, Bruises, and Owies
Written and illustrated and (c) 2022 by Lora Craig-Gaddis

Pooka Pages is a fun and exciting site for Pagan Families. The Pooka Pages E-zine follows a little witch, named Elsie, and her familiar, a black cat named Pooka, and their friends on adventures.

Lora Craig-Gaddis and her contributors (A few including: Fiona Tinker, Liliane Grenier, Mama Witch Carmen Sanchez-Bezzard, Sharon Midwinter Bennett, Lorna Lees, Mim Burrows, Terri Ireland, Rayne Storm, Chrustine Drago-Lambardo-some who have their own individual projects also available) put out an e-zine each Sabbat for families to print and share for many years. In addition to fun stories in the E-zine, there were activities that were sure to get your creative juices flowing: Coloring pages, recipes, poetry, songs and more all for you to download-for free.

This issue, Imbolc 2022 is the last edition there will be of Pooka Pages due to the illness of creator Lora Craig-Gaddis. This edition, including the always great crafts, recipes, herb information, and coloring pages by other contributors, contains 2 Storybook chair stories by Lora, and 2 Letters from Scotland stories (following the adventures of Atilla the Bun and Meg, the cat with half a tail, in Scotland) by Fiona Tinker.

Lora thanks Fiona who has been a huge help in getting out the past couple Sabbat Editions, while diagnosis' and decisions were made by her and her family. However, since Lora is no longer able to write or illustrate the E-zine due to her serious illness, the sad decision had to be made to discontinue further Issues.

On the Facebook Page, Pooka Circle, an archive has been compiled for the previous issues. While we do know The Pooka Pages site will be active for at least the next year, we suggest that if you are interested, make sure to download the back issues. Please be sure to read the release as to how the issues are allowed to be used.

Aunt Kalina will be spending the month of February 2022, recording all of Pookas Stories to be shared with you and your littles, from the most recent released 2022 Imbolc, back to the first Issue.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM LORA VIA FIONA SHOULD BE NOTED:

The magazine can not continue because Lora can not write or illustrate any more stories.

The only things that can continue regarding Pooka Pages are the books that are in publication right now (see below), The Pooka Pages website (which is paid for another year) and Pooka's Circle Facebook Group.

No one may re-publish the magazine: for free or money. The stories already on Pooka's Circle, in the completed archive, may be shared, but NOT FOR MONEY. Pooka Pages must be shared as magazines IN THE FORM THEY ARE IN AND NOT ALTERED. (I.E. No TikTok videos etc.) Two people are recording the stories, with permission, and will share those links in good time.

Lora does not need/want a GoFundMe. Ideas for people who want to "do something", could include sharing the issues they have with families who have not had the pleasure of "meeting" Pooka yet, perhaps buying a set of Pooka's books and donating them to their local library, or simply "paying it forward" in other ways.

Fiona also suggests if you'd like to do something in honour of Pooka and Elsie, you could donate to an animal shelter or a children's charity, or if your family is able to look after it well, adopt an animal from your local shelter or humane society.

AND PLEASE, SHARE THE ARCHIVE. It is now complete.

Aunt Kalina has downloaded the archive and will be doing her best to make sure the Issues remain active each Sabbat in honor of the love Lora put into them. The details haven't been figured out yet. Maybe when each Sabbat Story recording is posted, she can link that full corresponding E-Zine to download. For now, just know that although this Imbolc 2022 Issue will be the last NEW one, Lora's Legacy (and the contributions of her friends) will continue on.

Pooka's Site:

Aunt Kalina is unsure how long this will remain active.

Pooka Circle is the Facebook page for familes, is still active, and the best place to obtain the most current and up-to-date information.

There are 4 Pooka Books available on Amazon:
