I was on a flight recently, where a child was sitting next to me with her mom.

And for the entire 3 hrs of the journey, she was hooked on her iPad

While her mom was either asleep or scrolling on her phone.

I see this everywhere, parents giving a phone or iPad to their kid to stay “entertained” because they’re “too busy”.

Watching 6-9 hrs of overstimulating content every day in the most formative years of life is causing virtual autism

Lower levels of mental health, IQ, attention span, social skills, critical thinking, rising social anxiety and depression have already been reported
And who knows what will happen in the long term.

A whole generation who doesn’t know how to live in the real world.

Brain rotting is the new term.

The most popular kids show Cocomelon can lead to sensory overload.

We’re failing our own generation and the only fix is to share this video and spread awareness.

Iam a millennial and Iam so glad I grew up in a time where playing out was prioritised.Sure I too was addicted to televisions and computers but it's not as bad as Gen Alpha 😢

Many of my relatives child are only 1 year old and they use phone more than me and the dumbest thing is their parent feel proud as they think their child is a genius that she/he can use the phone at such young age. I saw the screen time once and it was 9hrs average. It wasn't this bad even for me in covid.

They’re our consumers for the future. This needs to be encouraged by saying that’s it’s good as kids will become “tech savvy” and will be able to “compete”. Then we compete for their attention, take their money and raise our children in the woods.

Yea... My distant gen alpha relative needs phone as soon as he wakes up and uses it until he goes back to sleep... And if his parents don't give him phone, he cries as hell... It's just such a bad influence tho..And just because of the parents as they spend their time in "WORK FROM HOME" and give their child phone for entertainment 😢

Parents have forgotten the ways to play with kids.

They are the first-person who give kids their phone as a reason of being busy in daily work.
Eventually they will face the consequences.
Mostly these parents are Millennials who know what games to play, activities to perform with kids, but they still don't do that.

Kids getting bored so fast and don't find anything other than scrolling phone as a solution .
We too were bored fast but always knew what to do in that free time . Not questioning, oh i hate boredom .in other words boredom was bless which now is not .
I feel bad for kids and want to let them know, please go do something less stimulating as your phone, not to the kids but the parents must understand themselves

I remember when i was in 4th grade i used to go out to the park everyday play football and do stunts there now i am 9th i dont do anything except be on my phone or my laptop covid kinda changed Everything

I also sometime think what is wrong with todays parents dont they see the drama their kids do when they dont get phone for atleast 2-3 would it hurt to bring their kids to a park with other kids for playing physically i mean if there are 10 pair of parents who are facing a same problem which he discussed in this vid if they talk to each other they can atleast decide 1 hour from their daily life and let there kids play in the mean time even they can make friends or good neighbours


Also i would like to give a suggestion to you can u make this shot in hindi so that most of the parents can understand and take actions
