Samsung Galaxy A53 in 2023 | A year later...

This is Samsung Galaxy A53 review in 2023! So, I switched back to Samsung Galaxy A53 from Galaxy S23 Ultra. It's been a year now since this phone was released and on some region Samsung is now rolling out Samsung Galaxy A54 5G. I thought of popping out my SIM from Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and back to Galaxy A53 to see how it performs if I'm coming from a flagship phone. This is not ideal but from here I would know what I would like to improve on this phone, what is acceptable and what is good!

➡️ Verdict:

Coming from a flagship Samsung phone I feel like Samsung can improve on the build quality of this phone. I think the performance and the battery life is acceptable knowing that this is a mid-range phone I don't expect this to be my primary gaming phone there are tons of Chinese phones that I can use on the same price range. I think the camera is in between good and acceptable because the rear main camera is performing really well it's just the selfie that I'm concerned with. And I think the best thing about this phone is the screen and maybe the overall pocketability of the phone. It has the same AMOLED panel with the very capable 120 hertz and the colors and vividness of the screen is the same as what I have on my S23 ultra. It might not be as bright but in a controlled environment it performs equally well. Coming from my flagship S23 Ultra switching back to Samsung Galaxy A53 will be overall feel of the phone after 1 year I give it a solid 6.5 out of 10.

I buy this phone for gaming ( big mistake ) but after 1 year performance in gaming also increases tbh i play genshin impact with high mid settings in this phone it heats too but didnt that much lag now i mean you can play cod mobile and fortnite in 60fps and pubg new state in 90fps and car x street also runs smoothly

Samsung A53 is solid when it comes to normal usage but with gaming, it's a nah for me. However, samsung really never disappoints you when it comes to its display and stereo speaker.

Me using the a53 for a year
Its a great phone but u can get better phones than this i did pay a way more and could have gotten better if i waited but the experience from using the phone is better. Its have a very i mean very long battery life at start i played pubg for 9 hours pubg. Ui is great almost everytime but sometimes there are bugs bur its fine. Problems i face is that the camera shutter speed is way too slow i know its fast as when i record a video and shot a photo its fast but ok still i want fast speed shutter speed. Yea the only problem is this but yea a great phone

Hi Sir. 14pro gamit ko as my daily driver. Kaso grabe talaga magdegrade batt health niya kasi nakakailang charge ako dahil 3k+ mah lang sya.
Ok kaya tong a53 gawing pang harabas phone? Mahal kasi ung a34/a54 which is napakaganda talaga ng scren 😮😮😮
Samsung a7 2018 pa gamit ko kasi super naglalag na sya since mag 5yrs na sya sa dec.
should i stick with samsung as my back up phone? Or try ibang brands na cheaper ang price less than 10k?
May nakita ko 1 month old na a53 sinesell niya for 10k.
