Seems my battery life is better with iOS 12 battery life on iOS 11 was not good at all each version got a little worse on my iPhone X

My iphone X battery health is 88 percent. It's hella annoying how low it's gotten. At this point i'm rushing to get it below 80 so I can get a new battery.

Absolutely amazing battery life on my iPhone X iOS 12 beta 1 I have had a few jitters with tongue detection though it only works if I tilt my head a certain way

My iPhone X is at 93% battery life and it bugs the hell out of me. Regardless, of whether or not I got it at launch, I can’t imagine a phone battery dropping 7% within 8 months as normal. Especially, since the battery percentage didn’t start dropping from 100% until the iOS 11 battery update hit a month or two ago.

I don't have the graph or any of that on ios 12. It just says battery information will appear after you use your iPhone for a few minutes and I have had ios 12 for a whole day now.

Also I think having True Tone on might actually reduce battery usage due to the way OLED screen uses more energy to produce blue/white light

Interesting, I am also using beta 1 on an iPhone X with 100% health, so far today I’m on *40%* with nearly *5 and a half hours* of screen on time and *an hour and a half* of standby.

I haven’t really optimised any settings for battery saving, haven’t used power saving mode and haven’t charged it up since I picked up the phone this morning.

Have done a fair bit of YouTube through AirPods today as well 🤔
