Sometimes, to get something done, or to get someone to stop doing something, you need to use Graded Assertiveness. A lot of people have heard of Graded Assertiveness, but I've found that surprisingly few have a reliable, structured approach to delivering it. In this video, I compare two models (PACE vs CUSS) and give my thoughts on what works best in the real world.

So I'm currently applying for paramedic internships in Australia where conflict situations/cases are frequently used during the interview process. I have heard of PROBE, but not CUSS. This is a really helpful way to break down those situations and fits more with the context. Thanks for this!
