This is a story of Mervyn Pereira, an Indian GMAT student who scored 770 on his last GMAT attempt. Mervyn scored 720 in his first attempt; His ultimate target was to score around 750 so he decided to ra-take but seeing 720 on the first attempt he became little overconfident which resulted in scoring even less in the second attempt. Realizing the mistake, he did a thorough analysis of his GMAT ESR, tried to know what was going wrong, what mistakes were holding him back from reaching the target score. He made significant changes in his GMAT preparation strategy, study plan, and practice methods which ultimately helped him scoring 99 percentile on hislast GMAT attempt.
