“I used to work for the government, now I work for the public”
“What does that mean”
“I never realized there was a difference”
That’s a powerful line

True Patriot. Gives up his family, his home life, a well paying career, and living in a foreign country all so his countrymen would know our government was spying on us. We need more patriots like him

"Consent is only meaningful if it's informed" - Edward Snowden 2019
This quote can apply to so many things

He's not a traitor - he stood up for what was right. His character is one in a billion.

Once again, Comedy Central gives us an interview more legitimate than what we see on today's news mostly.

The producer who made this interview happen deserves a raise and a brand new house.

Not only a hero. He has one of the clearest, most logical and most lucid minds I've ever read or heard. And there's more: he communicates subtle ideas with astounding clarity and brevity.

I love how everytime anyone asks Ed a simple, quippy question, he gives the most eloquent, elaborate, and educated response! He's so damn intelligent!

Trevor you are a phenomenal host and interviewer. Not only did you ask him great questions, you also LISTENED, didn’t cut him off and gave him a chance to give his full answer. Kudos to you

This dude threw away his life so we would know what was happening, he sacrificed his american life, his standing in the u.s. and his privacy for the rest of his days... just to tell the ppl of the u.s. that we are being violated.
This man is a badass like no other

Heroes tend to not be extraordinary people of amazing skill, but regular folks who find themselves in extraordinary circumstances, yet still do the right thing

He’s possibly THE most interesting person to listen to, for me personally. Not only due to the topic, but more so due to his amazing ability to instantly know why you asked the question, what you could be getting at and what you’re trying to learn from the answer. I’ve never communicated with anyone, in person, that could really hear me to that extent. Also, as someone else mentioned, his ability to put abstract and complicated thoughts into a 100% clear and communicable form is absolutely incredible. That’s what made me look for and watch all of his interviews I could find and be just as fascinated by the last one as I was by the first one.

The man has a calming speaking voice.

He should do an audio version of his book.
