I love the king james version. My grandfather used to read from that and it makes me feel like home. My grandfather died at 97. I remember him at his desk reading and studying his bible and taking notes with his typewriter. In his last days he was very desoriented, and i used to tell him... you must be the age of Daniel when he received the vision by the river and the angel called him a very beloved man. He would smile and blush a little.

That is such a beautiful Bible! I’m so in love with the spine and the inside with the drop caps!! $99.99 is a bit too expensive for me but I hope I can get my hands on one, one day!!

I have the purple one, I was lucky enough to find a brand new one in the box at my local used bookstore and I paid less that 25 for it. I love it and look forward to many years of use
