WE826 with EP06-E: Changing IMEI and Band Locking

In order for Prepaid Home WIFI SIM cards to work on the device, we need to change the IMEI numbers of the module to the ones registered to either Globe or PLDT.

Remember to copy first the original IMEI of the EP06-E prior to changing.
Use the command format below:
AT+EGMR=1,7,"New IMEI Number"

For band locking, download the spreadsheet

Remember to copy first the default band configuration.
Enter the following to get the original band config:
AT+QCFG="band"

Default for EP06-E:
AT+QCFG="band",8d0,1a1880800d5,0

I have an Insty connect with an em12g. This is how things looked before but now it’s different. Is rooter updated with a new look and feel or did Insty connect change things up? Ugh.

im currently researching into buy this router and sticking rooter firmware into it
from my understanding from the video you shared the module ep06-e has its own hardcoded imei number
therefore you copied the IMEI from the simcard and masked it to the router module using the AT command?
do some carriers use this as type of security filters, similar to mac address to block unknown foreign imei from their service ?

Also would you recommend I skip the ec25-e model and for got the cat 6 ep06? i understand ep06 support carrier aggregation
