I've always loved the movie Inception for its creativity, plot, and especially the music. One of the legendary tracks to come out of this movie was the theme song "Time". Although there are already many remixes released throughout the years, I set out to design one that was not only new, but also represented my individual flavour.
As for the visuals, I revisited the prominent movie theme of totems. Here I showcased Leonardo's particular version which is a spinning top transposed in a variety of locations. These shots were intended to contrast a modern, cold, and stoic aesthetic with an uplifting, colourful world of nature. After all, despite the hardships of reality one can always dream of fruitful pastures. However, if one escapes too far into their dreams, they may never return to reality.
If you're interested in getting the "totem", I got mine from a very unique company called Foreverspin. They manufacture and sell beautiful spinning tops made from a myriad of metals such as gold, silver, and even tungsten. The one I have used in this video is made of nickel. You can find one at:
