It is sickening to treat our military like that. Trudeau has to go.

I would lay my life on the line for Alberta long before "canada." The morale in "canada" is at an all-time low, and i wonder why

Absolutely clearly, succinctly and truthfully stated about the current status of the Canadian Forces.

Hopefully, the Canadian government will take notice and act; before it’s far too late. A country’s defense is paramount. From the States. 🇺🇸 🇨🇦

I am ashamed of the politicians that have left our borders unprotected and our brave military short of men and equipment. Our serving members and veterens deserve better. 😢

It's all bad for our military. But our poorest cousins are the navy. 12 overaged-overworked frigates, four dangerous to thier crews submarines, a littoral fleet of some 22 vessels and only 4-6 25 mil cannons amongst them. Our only one supply vesssel MV Asterix has zero defensive armaments. ZERO folks!
No torpedoes, no mines, no depth charges, and forget about anti air missiles. BUT the navy has about 40 admirals for 202, 000 kms of coastline.
So. They can defend us via wooden desks. These are the reasons sailors do not re-sign.

A military in which personnel have to personally fund their stuff is just outrageous !! What a cursed party we have in our government !!

It’s sad to see a once beautiful county of Canada our neighbors to the north is being destroyed by the current leader.

Just another mess that I hope Pierre can clean up. Our once proud and respected military is a shell of its former self.

As a former army cadet the reason I haven't joined is because I'm unwilling to put my life on the line for men like Trudeau

Trudeau has set an example of arrogance & dismissiveness. Trudeau needs to be kicked to the curb.
Please give us leadership that cares about Canadian citizens. We need a leader who will make Canada Great Again

No. It's not worth it. You fight and wind up a homeless veteran with little to no support when you get back. North America treats it's vets like dirt.

It's sad what he's doing to our people and country no regard for the citizens or the defence of our land.

When is it going to change. I’m happy that my father, uncles aunts., grandfather and great uncles, you get the picture, are not around any more to see what has happened to our military. Disgraceful, shameful and angering.

Same as his father. And the NDP has no time for the CAF.

How defence spending stacks up. According to figures from NATO, the budget for the Canadian military in 2023 is $36.7 billion or 1.29 per cent of GDP.

Defence minister insists $1B spending reduction is not a budget cut

“All things being equal, the simplest solution tends to be best one”
I’m 100% to vote ☑️ Poilievre!!

Cause the minister of defense is a lawyer, whose biggest qualification is that she has no clue about anything. Although the drama teacher thought it was a great idea to have her manage the defemce file. If incompetence had a name …

Trudeau has insulted our Proud Canadian Military and their service to Canada and Canadians when Trudeau is voted out of office in 2025 I hope Pierre's P.C. government restores our Military to full strength and gives respect to our Men and Women that serve

This has been going on for years. I remember back in the late 60s, early 70s, when that other Trudeau was in the PMO. The moral was low, and we were pretty disgusted with where we saw things going. It is so much worse today.
