Every aspect in life is a form of worship in Islam. Looking after the wife, kids and parents is a huge reward, Alhumdulillah. Even getting intimate with your spouse is a form of worship and sadaqah. Going to the toilet, going to sleep, how you speak/deal with people/animals if done according to Gods way is a form of worship. All praise be to Allah.
