Thankyou for this new channel. As mentioned on a previous one. We are from Australia and really love UK. This is making me feel like I’m there travelling. We never got there when we were were over but it looks like such a lovely place to visit. We did find a mini Stonehenge in the bottom of Ireland which we loved. We were the only ones there when we were there. Your history over there is amazing.

This took me back as my dad was in the army and we lived in Larkhill which is right next to Stonehenge and we often went to Avebury

It all looks beautiful. I giggled when you said you would name the sheep hoppy though 😂

Fab video! Already liking the direction of this new channel 😊 I've been trying to find a good collection of videos about day trips in the UK and they tend to be very London-heavy. One video in and you've already shown a good place to take the kids, especially since my 8-year-old just finished learning about the Neolithic Period 😊

And I wouldn't be me if I didn't say:
I know you were just repeating what you heard but the devil is only part of Christianity and has nothing to do with the faiths of prehistoric times. And when paired with Paganism, links Paganism with something viewed as evil, which it isn't, and perpetuates intolerance to faiths that are "different".
Love your videos and have been a follower (on your other channels, obv 😉) for ages so know that isn't your intent. But, the more you know and all that jazz.

Looking forward to where you take this channel!

What a beautiful place 😍

If you like sheep you should visit the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire- they are allowed to roam free here! Quite nice seeing all the lambs during spring but they do cause some traffic jams also 😂

You can easily walk along the Ridgeway from Barbury castle to Avebury but not on a hot day. I've run it a couple of times and it's just over 12 miles each way. The views are stunning. I'm local but it still pleases me everytime I visit.

I love to find new places to visit and most of the time I’ve researched more of the area when we’ve returned . Your visit looked so relaxing it’s simply beautiful the hidden treasures that your area has to visit xx

Just stunning. Loved the sheep, the stones, the views, everything.
We are definitely the kind of people that want to know more - those aliens 👽 were very clever putting those stones up 😁
Already looking forward to the next vlog.

Love the idea of local days out ideas. This one though was very interesting as we live in Marlborough, and have been very lucky to be able to walk this area during the lockdowns from home. The Fyfield Nature reserve area is well worth a walk in the autumn time when a bit cooler.

I love Avebury. We’ve been there two or three times. We also loved Glastonbury cathedral. Both places have such a special atmosphere. And we also always stay at a Mariott hotel 🤣 Mostly in Maidstone to visit the Bluewater shopping centre 🥰

Really enjoying the new content. I’m fascinated by history and fall in the group that does lots of googling and other research. Thank you for sharing Avebury stone circle and Barbury Castle Park with us. Living in Australia, I just don’t get to see much of the UK at present, so these videos wonderful. ✨✨

That was I am with you at always being amazed by how they managed to construct such places! I’m not religious but I love visiting cathedrals just to admire and marvel at the amazing buildings and I always touch the columns and pillars and ask myself...How the heck did they do we recently went to Ely cathedral which was very Wow! X
