Dear Jamie, this recipe is fantastic. I do it over and over again and watch the video always before to make it exactly like you. It is light and so delicious.And all ingredients are easy to boy and have at home. Thanks again., I cooked it today for the first advent and everybody was happy. I grow fresh rosemary in a pot on my terrace. We had it with codfish and roast potatoes and it still tasted. Thanks for sharing & happy first advent!

We tried this recipe for christmas dinner and it was a success. Red cabbage is a standard fare for Christmas but this jazzed up version is simply delicious.

Dec 23rd 2023, 1:50 JUST this minute finished this recipe and it is MARVELOUS! Treat yourselves, it doesnt take long. P.S. I used tinned prunes and dried Rosemary; couldnt get any fresh, but just as good, plus you get to drink the Prune Juice after!

I've never had red cabbage other than a salad and usually pick it out. Someone gave me 2 heads so I tried this. I did. It expect to like it at all. It was freaking delicious! My 11 year old scarfed it down.

Nice festive recipe Jamie. I think if I were making it for vegetarians, some roasted chestnuts could be quite nice added in.

Hello. I'm from Germany and red cabbage ist he classic side dish / vegetable for Christmas. We normally serve it with goose, duck or turkey, dumplings and gravy. Instead of olive oil and butter, try goose fat, it's really delicious. We also cook it with apples and sometimes with chopped onion, too and also add a good slug of red wine. As spices, we use cinnamon, cloves, star anis and bay leaves. At the end, we add 2 or 3 tablespoons of jelly (currant, quince, cranberry or whatever you like).
