How to Open Multiple Images as Layers in Photoshop

Here is a fast and easy way on how to open multiple images as layers in Photoshop. You can open many photos and have them in layers in one file. Q: do you know if there is a way to do that now with layers - ctrl + layer click for selection, and then ctrl + N for new document so it can pick up dimensions, and then ctrl + v to paste that selection - is there any way to that for multiple layers at once ?
