Regarding goalies, I’ve been trying out the PT 86 German goalie Quapp on my alternate account and no joke he’s been amazing. He’s got 90 + quickness and is 6”4 203. He’s a bargain right now and thinking of buying him for the main squad.

Great video. I managed to get all 6 team builders in prep for dessemating my team for TOTY. Couldn't get McDavids XF, so that will take a bunch of the resources, but I have Makars.

Considering the brutal state of goaltenders, I took Igors XF and powered him up. With no faith in any Gs, I figured getting his TOTY and not spending any more coins/resources on Gs was the play. After those 3, if I can manage 1 or 2 more, I'll be happy. Choked, I re-rolled Poulin though.

Star of the month Vanacek with silver post to post and gold light work has been absolute money for me in Div 3/4.

I am just like 4 teams away from my first 92 TB. And I think I have the resources for one TOTY. Who should I build for both the TB and TOTY?

Offense:
87 Gartner - SS Bergs - XF Larkin
SS Barzal - NOH Forsberg - 88 Teraveinen
XF Pasta - NOH Modano - 88 TOTW Petterson
4th line never touches the ice.

Defense:
SS Weager - NOH Fehervary
Milestone Schenn - SS Slavin
TB Duchense - NOH Brodie

Obviously, I will be trading in the TB duchense.

Abilities:
I run gold dumpy on weager, fehervary, and Schenn
Gold quick draw in Bergs
Silver elite edges on Barzal and Larkin
Close quarters on Forsberg.

Last year I stopped upgrading XFs once they started to max out their skating. I’ll probably do the same with Barzal and MacKinnon…once they reach 93/94 they’re basically endgame with their skating.

I feel like forsbergs power-up icon is better now that he got his upgrade the international one has better abilities but gold unstoppable force is all you really need on him.

I also think if shesterkin gets like gold last stand for his team of the year that will be the best by far. Not 1 goalie had gold last stand they have to be saving it for something? Right?!?
I also feel like some of the abilities mess up the goalies even more then they already are x factor Vasi is way better with just silver last stand on then if you activate gold contortionist he goes to the spread v save way too much when that is on its obnoxious

Hey Sleeves, I’m free to play so I don’t have the resources to make multiple team of the year cards. However Ive stockpiled a decent amount of cards in my collection and I have the mackinnon, makar and Mcdavid X factors out of pure luck. (Mcdavid in a premium pack!) I was wondering what the best one to make for team of the year is if I could only make one? I was debating between mackinnon and makar since my left wingers are pretty stacked and Mcdavid X factor has been so good for me.
