Tried complicated procedures repeatedly on Liftmaster operators with yellow and purple learn LEDs. After failing multiple times, I noticed button 2 I was using when programming the opener with purple LED worked on the operator with the Yellow program light.
The instructions for this "universal" remotes are long, convoluted, and wrong.

Awesome! I was able to get my remote door opener programmed to my 1993 Genie door after about 3 tries. I had the 12 dip switch numbers turned around. Thanks so much for your step-by-step instructions!
