SR20DET Rattling sound

New rebuild sr20det and at about 3k rpm start this noise, it come from the exhaust side, no vtc or westgate play. Any ideas?

It was the turbine shaft with a lot of play

I have just done a fresh build and having a similar issue. maybe a loose bolt ( exhaust to block maybe ) or possibly a bottom end knock... although bottom end knock seems to be a bit more hollow. hoping mines not rod knock as its a fresh build and all tolerances where checked twice before assembly keep me posted if you find out anything boss.

Take your rocker cover off. Turn cam lobe upwards and check for free play in the rocker. Could also re bleed the lifter.. heard if the rockers are worn it causes this rattle best of luck bud
