Hey Cloudy. I could be very confused, but why in your last example the absolute minimum (9/8, 51/4) and not (-7, 12)? My thought is that 12 < 12.75 so that one is the absolute minimum.

In example 4 why didn’t we consider a case where f-1(x) is u defined I.e. denominator of differentiated function is 0

Hey man is it possible to a replace the absolute value of |x| with square root of x^2 and then do the derivative for the last question?
