In Russia, President Putin’s approval rating has fallen to an all-time low.

Russia, like many countries, is suffering acute economic hardship after weeks of coronavirus lockdown.

Amid rising unemployment, there are signs of growing disillusionment with the Kremlin. Our correspondent Steve Rosenberg has been to Vladimir Putin’s home city of St Petersburg to gauge the mood.

BBC has such splendid journalists. They know exactly who to interview to get the most negative opinion.

I love how when western media showing negative news of foreign countries, people think it's propaganda.
And when it's China propaganda, people think it's real news!
LOL I love the stupidity of the comment section hahahaha 😂

Don't complain about Russian interference in our elections when you're doing the same.

Quote: I never imagined I would have to rely on food parcels.
What? Why didn't you ever imagine this?
Did you have money saved? Did you have a food supply put back? If your answer is No or Not Enough, then you should have imagined this happening.
I can't tell you the number of times that I have heard about people being advised to put food storage away, yet they did NOTHING. Even my own family is this way and then I hear their cries, the canned goods are gone and the toilet paper is gone. It will be interesting to see if people go back to their same old ways after this is over. You complain that your government has let you down. Apparently, you can't even rely on yourself and yourself has let you down. NEVER rely on the government or anyone else. Take steps to rely only on yourself. AND, YES, that is an overwhelming thing for you to have everything you need/want, so how can you expect the Government to do it? YOU have to take care of YOURSELF!

If somebody wanted to make an interview saying that they trusted Putin, would the BBC show it?

This situation is affecting everyone in the world. Here there are more resources, but the middle class and the poor are struggling tremendously the most.
