If you're fishing moving water I'd use shrimp or a chicken liver where I live depending on where you're fishing bluegill works sometimes but it's not the best bait one of the best baits for the State of Texas is Nightcrawlers chicken liver shad and shrimp

Don't forget to use a swivel of some sort! Catfish are notorious for rolling around when hooked. Nice quick short! 👍

Use chicken hearts.. or chicken gizzards caught over 40 catfish in 1 day with those amazing baits, Remember catfishing just leaving your line on the bottom until a bite 😊

I have caught my top 2 on catfish on plastic worms on accident. Number 2 is 13 pounds 6 ounces, and number 1 is 16 pounds 2 ounces. Number 2 was a wacky rig pumpkin seed senko, and number 1 was a 2 3/4 inch junebug Z-Man finesse Ned rig.

There's several different ways of catfishing! My fave pond baits are raw shrimp, raw chicken, and cutbait of any kind! The best imo is cutbait because it's absolutely free!

This is a guild for baby catfish. If you like to catch monsters, throw in the middle of any lake, use shrimp, and if not shrimp, use a Purch or any small fish or cut up fish.

Next time when you get the catfish, when you feel it, tug slowly reel in and then when you feel them on, then you can real faster but if you Hookset they will spit the hook out it happened 100 times to me today but I at least got a 7 pounder
