Показать описание
An Earth Leakage breaker RCD(Residual Current Device) is designed to trip when it detects a difference between the current in the Live wire and Neutral wire.
The RCD (Residual Current Device) used in this tutorial have a set current of 30mA. This means it will trip when the current reaches 30mA.
The RCD has a white button that must be regularly (after 3 months) action to check that the device is still working.
Learn how to effectively test an Earth Leakage Breaker (ELB) in this comprehensive tutorial. Designed for electricians, maintenance professionals, and homeowners, this video guides you through essential steps and techniques to ensure the proper functioning of ELBs. Explore methods for conducting earth leakage testing, understanding trip characteristics, and interpreting test results. Gain practical insights into troubleshooting common issues and maintaining safety compliance in electrical installations. Whether you're performing routine maintenance or troubleshooting faults, mastering ELB testing is essential for electrical safety and reliability.
