I have a lot more thoughts about this topic I wasn’t able to get into in this video. What are your thoughts on this?

I'm confused. Do Christians believe that voting is going to somehow make people holy or more sinful? Voting is just about selecting a public employee to do a job. The questions that matter are:

1) What is the job

2) Which candidate is more likely to do that job better, not just in the short term, but the long term especially

That's all it is. If you want to eliminate abortion, then don't worry about laws. Worry about the morality of the people. In other words, devote yourself to spreading the gospel of Christ. Political candidates are not about salvation, it's about trying to put the best option into office. It seems to me that too many Christians don't actually understand this. There is never a "good" choice, because only God is good. But there are better and worst choices.

I propose a simple test. . .ask yourself how much time per day do you spend researching and learning about politics and compare that to how much time you spend reading, learning and meditating on the word/scripture. . .The two shouldn't even be close.

God bless everyone. Praise God.

As a Christian I have a duty to act...not pretend to act.

You realize a vote isn’t a love letter to a candidate it’s a chess move towards a world you want to live in

41 million is INSANE. That would def change the country if they would. They def can’t complain how things are if they don’t vote especially in local elections

I don't believe that voting is a biblical mandate. I believe that spreading the gospel is.

If you refuse to vote then you can’t complain when the consequences of your inaction come knocking.

Neither candidate has commendable morality. But, after reading Jeremiah, I see in chapter 29 where God tells God's people while in captivity in Babylon, that we are to seek the good and prosperity in the city we are planted. One candidate allows much more for human flourishing, prosperity and freedom to worship. Refusing to exercise the freedom to select our leadership or voting for 3rd party isn't proving anything to anyone. That third party candidate is in the same place spiritually as the other two. So, Christians... one of those two are going to be in the Oval Office. Vote for the one who will give us the opportunity to be free to worship God and see our country flourish. Grace and Peace

I'm fine with this BUT I hope they all still vote on the abortion amendments in their states and vote pro-life. It would send a huge message to the GOP also.

Focus on the POLICIES, not the person.

Saying "it's a sin not to vote" strangely reminds me of the slogan "Silence is violence." I'd prefer people to vote, but saying that avoiding doing so is sin seems like a bridge too far.

I pray for all my brothers and sisters in Christ, no matter what happens, who gets voted into the office that we will never forget that Christ is King.

“If you don’t vote you can’t complain.” Well sure they can, it’s called the 1st Amendment.

Calling your support of a single candidate equivalent to "saving christianity" is a form of idolatry itself. Don't mix people's political ambitions with God's

You should vote. Not because someone tells who to vote for. Go with what you think will best impact you and your life. Especially within local elections. If you let crap get ahold of power. You will be covered in it.

I resent the implication that "real" Christians will vote for Trump. There are real Christians of good conscience who will vote for each of the major party candidates. There are also Christians of good conscience who won't vote for either.

I am a Trump guy but it’s everyone’s individual choice who to vote for.
Absolutely crazy almost as worse as the Democrats saying you ain’t black if you don’t vote Kamala.

As a Christian I don't put my faith in politics which is obvious corrupted even before converting to Jesus christ in which I put my faith in him.
