If you're new to my channel, my name is Rafael Cintron. I’m the founder of Wealthy Expat, a company focused on helping high-net-worth individuals obtain second citizenship and move abroad. Our services focus on guiding clients through the process of obtaining second residencies, citizenships, and creating tax-efficient structures, particularly in low-tax environments like Dubai.

Here’s a bit about my journey:

I’ve traveled to over 80 countries and obtained multiple new citizenships along the way.

In my early career, I realized the constraints of traditional tax systems, which led me to explore legal strategies to minimize tax obligations.

Wealthy Expat has helped over 500 clients navigate international residencies, foreign company setups, and asset protection strategies.

Our team offers top-tier services, handling everything from setting up offshore bank accounts to getting second citizenship by investment to securing Dubai residency and more.

My YouTube channel was started to share my experiences and insights with others who seek freedom and financial security outside of traditional systems.

Today, Wealthy Expat continues to grow, with a focus on empowering clients to protect and optimize their wealth in a world where freedom is increasingly restricted.

Let’s create your path to freedom.

Puertorico is not at all that dangerous that is described in this video. Brookling is much more worst

I get that Puerto Rico isn’t for everyone, but with those beaches and no crypto taxes, it almost sounds like paradise.

I agree that in San Juan and the surrounding areas it can be unsafe, but I live in Cabo Rojo and I’ve never felt safer in my life. It is laid back and uber safe. So when you say there is no place that’s unsafe, I will respectfully disagree

I'm on the other end of the spectrum, I'm a white guy living in Puerto Rico, and there are some challenges but overall I really like it here. Hurricanes are a bit scary (but there is plenty of warning). Puerto Ricans are extremely welcoming (especially if you attempt to speak Spanish). Some things are slower here (like finding a contractor sometimes). Stateside is a 2-hour flight away. It's like moving to another state that speaks mostly Spanish.

As a non American i find it utterly ridiculous that you can move to a American territory and don't pay US taxes but if you move overseas you still are liable for US taxes as a US citizen. 🤯

I'm so happy I made productive decisions about my finances that changed forever. I'm a single mother living in Vancouver Canada, bought my first house in October and hoping to retire soon if things keep going smoothly for me.

Fluent in Spanish I wish I could live in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 difficult for non-Americans though. I think the west part of the island is safer. I love Puerto Rico and Puerto Ricans. Wepa.

Sounds like a good place to stay if u just wanted to be online and trade crypto all day. Power outage can be avoided with backup batteries.

USA has messed up Puerto Rico since it became a colony. I’m not PR but researching the history it’s truly disgusting. I stand with the PR people.

Yo vivo en PR y no hay tiroteos en las escuelas, ni en los cines. Nene, prefiero mil veces criar mis hijos aquí. Huracanes y desastres naturales los hay everywhere. Te veré retirándote aquí, como todos los q se van.

Perfect approach from this speaker. Me as a native puertorican, engineer and entrepreneur, would like to keep PR all for myself. I also have a boat at one of the marinas and I love going to Culebra or the virgin islands every time. PR is a nasty place, please stay away, I don’t want to see a mofongo shortage in the Island cause there are too many gringos coming down to consume our precious food. Please stay there and continue having hamburgers, hot dogs and ice tea…my two cents…

People, don't believe this guy. He admits that his family and friends live happily in PR and don't have any desire to move. There is so much exaggeration on internet. About crimes and power outages, we surely need to improve as many other cities in the world. But this is no Vietnam as some might try to make believe, and real power problems are limited to some specific areas or regions, the rest of the population receive good service. The general power outages that had happened are due to poor maintenance through the years - that's true. But it's not that we all have problems every day nor weeky or monthly. I live very happy here in all respects, come and try for yourself, Don't be led by what this guy says.

Isn’t it a little irresponsible for you to say there’s no crypto tax in Puerto Rico without explaining for example if you bought bitcoin in 2020, and you moved to Puerto Rico now, and you were to sell your bitcoin at the top of the cycle, say in about 12 months, you would have to pay all your taxes on those capital gains…. From my understanding, you don’t get the zero crypto taxes unless you buy the crypto after you’re already in Puerto Rico, and sell it while you’re still a resident of Puerto Rico… can you please clarify this?

You should do a video on the advantages of moving TO Puerto Rico, because it's a huge tax saving, esp on capital gains (none) and federal income taxes (4%). In Puerto Rico, you get the advantages of living in Bermuda or Dubai, but you're still in the U.S. Also, I've been to Puerto Rico twice, and Old San Juan is amazing, and the beaches in the islands of Culebra and Vieques are some of the best in the world.

You're one of the reasons that Puerto Rico is getting so gentrified ! You're telling the gringos to come to Puerto Rico and avoid paying taxes ! Shame on you bruh !!!
