Robert Telles' Google Searches Show He Searched About Deleting Data From Phone

Digital forensics analyst Matthew Hovanec took the stand on Friday afternoon, revealing what he found on accused killer Robert Telles' phone prior to the murder of 69-year-old journalist Jeffery German. During the search, there was an abundance of Google searches and evidence of how Telles allegedly deleted data from his phone.

Robert Telles is accused of murdering Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter Jeff German. After German had written several articles about Telles, a public administrator at the time, he was found stabbed to death outside his home in September 2022. Prosecutors claim Telles’ DNA was found under German’s fingernails. Telles has pleaded not guilty and says he was framed for the murder.
